Blue Ridge Real Estate Company landholdings are suited for various uses from resort residential to commercial or industrial development.

The Core Area of the Companies land lies mostly with in Kidder Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania extending westward to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I476) and eastward to Route 115. Several of the Companies other land holdings are outside the Core Area, but within close proximity. All of these properties are readily accessible by the regional and local road systems such as Interstate Highways 80, 81, 84, 380 and 476. Travel times to New York and Philadelphia are about 2 hours and to Harrisburg about 1-1/2 hours.

The Companies have identified several resort residential tracts for Planned Residential Developments (PRDs) which are in various stages of approval. These developments are anchored by several recreational facilities including the Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas, the Jack Frost National Golf Course and the Lake Mountain Club. Substantial additional capacity exists for expansion including both single and multi-family housing units. These projects will be served by existing deep water wells and sewage collection systems currently owned by Blue Ridge Real Estate Company.

Within the Companies’ landholdings, other opportunities exist for commercial or industrial enterprises conveniently located near Interstate 80 and the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
